Johnpaul Arigumaho is a Ugandan Kiswahili educator, researcher, and Pan-Africanist dedicated to uniting East Africa through a common language (Kiswahili). He is a PhD candidate and the spokesperson for the Uganda National Kiswahili Teachers and Scholars Association. Johnpaul splits his time between lecturing at Kampala International University and Bugema University, and mentoring younger students at Uganda Martyrs Secondary School, Namugongo. Through his classrooms, research, and media appearances, he champions Kiswahili as a vital tool for continental trade, culture, and solidarity.
