ABOUT THE BOOK – KISWAHILI DARASANI (S1 & S2)

Following the remarkable success and positive reception of Kiswahili Darasani (S3 & S4) across Uganda, we are proud to introduce Kiswahili Darasani for Senior One and Senior Two an improved, learner-friendly and competence-driven resource carefully designed to strengthen Kiswahili learning right from the foundation level here in Uganda.

Developed by the Kiswahili Department of Uganda Martyrs Secondary School Namugongo, this book fully aligns with Uganda’s Lower Secondary Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). It is specifically prepared to simplify the teaching and learning of Kiswahili while equipping learners with the essential skills required to excel throughout the entire O-Level cycle.

WHY THIS BOOK IS IMPORTANT

Kiswahili has often been perceived as a challenging subject, especially due to the demands of national examinations. Kiswahili Darasani (S1 & S2) is intentionally designed to change that perception by preparing learners early, building confidence and gradually developing the competences needed to handle both language and literature with ease by the time they reach Senior Four.
